Before we begin any work, I'll take the time to understand your work thus far and get a sense of your voice. A good consultant complements the voice of the client, rather than imposing his or her own perspective. This is especially true in manuscript editing and data analysis.
You need a consultant who will be clear with the work to be done, rather than an open-ended project with no checkpoints or deadlines.
I work from specific agreements, deliverables schedules, and time trackers. Our terms are spelled out in an agreement drafted specifically for you.
I am on call for you throughout the length of the contract, and support my work well after the final invoice.
